●Axis distribution of stator winding temperature in a surface-cooled closed (AC) motor
In this type of motor, the losses in the stator windings are mainly dissipated through the core and the base. The heat dissipation conditions at the ends of the windings are poor, so that part of the heat loss at the ends is also dissipated through the core through the grooves. Thus, the temperature distribution of the stator windings forms a situation in which both ends are high and low in the middle.
● Temperature distribution in the field winding
In a concentrated multi-layer field winding, heat is mainly dissipated from the surface because the height is much larger than the thickness. The distribution of temperature along the thickness of such windings, usually the heat dissipation on the inner and outer surfaces of the windings is different, so the temperature distribution is asymmetrical.
● Temperature distribution in the core stack
Since the thermal conductivity of the silicon steel sheet laminate group in the radial direction and the axial direction is different by many times, it can be approximated that the temperature distribution in the radial direction of the core lamination stack is uniform, and the temperature distribution along the axial direction is uniform.
It is uneven. If the air flow through the radial air passages on both sides is different, the temperature distribution of the core in the axial direction will also be asymmetrical.
